SiLUX is a Chinese company located in Shanghai, China. SiLUX is focusing on silicon-photonics-based technologies, providing a wide variety of PICs (photonic integrated circuits) for the data center and tele-communication markets.
SiLUX also offers optical engines/solutions to customers with leading edge technologies both on chip’s performance and ease of packaging. The solutions will enable customer to develop silicon photonics-based products quickly and easily improving time to market and component costs.

Founder & CEO

Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Serves as the head of the silicon photonics division within Academician Wang Xi’s team. Published over 100 papers in academic journals such as *Nature* sub-journals and *PRI*. Led key national and provincial research projects, including the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Key R&D Program (1.6T Silicon Photonics CPO Project), the Shanghai Major Silicon Photonics Special Project, the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Pioneer Special Project, and National Natural Science Foundation projects.

Our Team

The team consists of experts with deep expertise in silicon photonic chip design, overseas returnee Ph.D.s, and outstanding professionals from the industry in management, technology, and marketing. This international team is building a high-end chip company rooted in China with independent intellectual property rights.
